Watch Our Worship Service "Live" Each Sunday Morning
Each Sunday, Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church will be broadcasting worship services live on this website.
We welcome you to join us for our weekly worship services in person or on-line here. Your are invited to participate in our corporate worship from the comfort of your home, ensuring that no one is left out of the larger spiritual community.
We encourage you to return to this website page shortly before 1030 am Central Time each Sunday to watch our worship service.
The service is provided to you on this website through Facebook's "Milburn Chapel Live" page.
Viewing Tips
To help you get the most out of your worship experience, we encourage you to do the following:
1. About five (5) minutes before the service starts (around 1030 am Central Time), come back to this page.
2. You may see a picture of Milburn Chapel on the screen with the message saying "Milburn Chapel Live (We are not live right now.)" Please stay on the page.
3. Once the broadcast starts, look to the lower right of the broadcast screen. You will see a "speaker"icon. If it has a bar (slash) across it, click on the speaker icon itself. The bar will dissappear and a vertical slider bar will display above the speaker icon. You can use your mouse or finger to slide the circle up the bar. This will increase the volume of the worship service audio, so that you can hear it comfortably.
4. Next to the speaker icon, you will see two arrows pointing in opposite directions.. If you click on this icon with your mouse or finger, it will expand the image display to full screen so that you can see it easier. If you need to reduce the video back to the original size, just click on the arrow icon again, and it will return to the original size.
5. If you have a Facebook account and prefer to watch the service on the "Milburn Chapel :Live" Facebook page, then click on the button called "Watch on Facebook" in the lower right corner of the broadcast video
player.
Note: The tips provided above should work properly on a desktop, laptop, or smaller tablet screens. You can still view the video on a smartphone, but you may have to enlarge the video image to find the video and udio controls on the broadcast video.

Ongoing Events
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Each Wednesday, generally between 6:00-7:15 pm, a thought-filled and inspirational study of the Bible takes place. There is usually a light meal offered before the study, between 6:00-6:30 pm. The Bible Study meets in the Fellowship Hall, located in the northwest corner of Milburn Chapel.
This Bible Study is open to anyone that wishes to deepen their understanding of the Bible.
The Bible Study group generally meets every Wednesday, except during the week of Thanksgiving. between Christmas and New Years, Spring and Fall School Break. There is usually a Summer Break from late May through early August (dates may vary).
Wednesday AfterSchool Program
Each Wednesday, during the school year, Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church offers an After School Program that gives children, ranging from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, an opportunity to get together with other children.
A supper meal is provided each week with hands on learning, and fun activities, such as crafts, games, and mission projects. We will also have our Bible lesson with activities each week.

Family Kitchen - Returning in 2027
With thanks to wonderful Kingdom workers at Milburn Chapel, we were blessed to serve several hundred meals to God's children this year. We are asked by Jesus Christ to "Feed my Sheep" and be servants to do his Will for all those we meet.
Although our church is not scheduled to serve at Family Kitchen for the remainder of the year, we look forward to serving again in 2027. We hope that you will join us in this worthwhile ministry to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ.

"Family Kitchen" is an outreach ministry that serves meals to individuals and families in need across the Paducah area.
Meals are provided free to those that are able to make to the site of the "Holy House of Prayer Pentecostal Church" (1001 S 4th St, Paducah, KY 42003) between 11:00 am and 1:00 PM each Saturday throughout the year.
Milburn Chapel is just one of the many churches in the larger faith community that volunteers its time and resources to help others looking for a simple meal, love, and fellowship. It is an opportunity to share God's blessings with those in need.

Upcoming Events
Church Work Day - September 26th 2026 - 8 am to ???
Like everything else, we all need a little tender loving care.
Our church is no different.
If you would share your talents to maintain and improve the church's physical plant, inside and out, then we would love to have you come and join us. If you have any tools that may help accomplish the project, bring them along.
At a minimum, we will likely be doing some of the following:
1. Address some plumbing items.
2. Running cable for and installation of more security cameras.
3. Outdoor maintenance: trimming, pruning, mulching.
4. Sign construction at Metropolis Lake Road entrance.

Good old-fashioned Chair "Raising" September 30, 2026 (after B.L.A.S.T)
Call all "B.L.A.S.T." team members and other interested "chair" person volunteers.
We are needing to set up and arrange chairs in preparation for the first Heath Middle School Concert of the season, scheduled for October 1st, 2026.
Setup will start between 615pm-630 pm (after B.L.A.S.T. has finished) in the Milburn Chapel Sanctuary.
We were blessed with an overflowing crowd during our last Heath Middle School Concert, so we want to be prepared in advance.
Your help will make the burden light for everyone. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated.

Heath Middle School Concert Series 2026-2027
The Heath Middle School Choir Program has partnered with Milburn Chapel to host a concert series, highlighting the singing talents of youth in our local community. The amazing program is definitely open to the family and friends of these accomplished singers, as well as those who support the work of the Heath Middle School Choir.
The current concert dates (subject to change) are as follows:
2026
October 1, 2026 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM
December 8, 2026 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM
2027
March 11, 2027 - Time: TBD
May 13, 2027 - Time:TBD
Actual Concert times will be announced at a later date.
Concert goers are encouraged to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the concert.
Community Fish Fry - October 24th, 2026 - 4 pm to 6 pm
Feeling hungry for some good food and fellowship?
Come join us on October 24, 2026, between 4 pm and 6 pm, for a good old-fashioned Fish Fry!
We will have good locally-provided fish filets and fixens, as well as delicious desserts.
Bring your appetite and enjoy good fellowship with your neighbors, family, and friends.
As the event gets closer, we will provide additional details here.
"Harvest Festival" - Tentative Date - November 6th or 7th
In Exodus 23:16, it says...
“Celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of the crops you sow in your field. “Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field.
Whether you work with the land or somewhere else, it is good to celebrate the fruits of your hard work and labor blessed by the Lord, whatever it may be.

Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church is in the process of planning a "Harvest Festival" this November. The exact time and date of this event is still being tied down in order not to conflict with other community events.
As the date, time, and Harvest Festival offerings become available, we will post them right here...so stay tuned and check back to this page often.
We hope you will take time and celebrate the blessing of the Harvest in our lives...a gift from God!
Cross Retreat - November 13-15, 2026

The 2026 Cross Retreat, called "Shipwrecked", will bring together youth for a weekend of intensive faith building, worship, and lasting friendships.
This retreat will be open to Middle School (6th grade and up) through College .
